This painting is a deep swirl of turquoise and deep sea blue. There are bubble patterns and octopus suckers in a beautiful tangle creating a kinetic, abstract composition.

This piece is part of a series of work I painted that celebrates the natural patterns of octopi. I played with making new compositions from elements of pattern in the animal and bold colors.
